Many vintage vehicle bodies were constructed in the traditional method of using an ash frame clothed in either a fabric covering or steel/aluminium panelwork. Additionally, these vehicles alongside many postwar cars used wood and high quality veneering techniques for the dashboard and interior trim.

Preparing the woodwork in any project of ours is a vital part of our restoration work with preservation of original wood always our main goal where possible. We try to keep these traditional craft skills going and pass on the knowledge between generations within a team that have in the past restored countless original wooden frames and also created entirely new replica frames for cars. We have of course prepared and created many different types of veneer and interior woodwork for all sorts of projects.
