Our Paintshop has a highly talented team with the experience and capability in striving to produce the highest possible standard. The Paintwork is an all important finishing process of our work and the many Concours awards ranging from Pebble Beach to Cartier Style et Luxe won by AKVR reflect the quality and finish of the cars we work on as much as getting the mechanics and engineering underneath correct.

Of course many historic vehicles require a more considered and sympathetic approach to the paintwork and have original patina that is importatnt to preserve. We can tailor the finish to suit the project and have the expertise to offer hand coach painting, coach striping and finely detailed signwriting. Thus any period paint/graphics scheme can be replicated or restored to perfection whilst preserving the history of the project in question.

At AKVR we use both modern water based paints and can also use traditional cellulose paints. We have a two paint booths including a modern bake room.
