Ashton Keynes Vintage Restorations (AKVR) was established in 1969 by Keith Bowley. What began as a hobby thus gained momentum, and AKVR has since become internationally respected for our restorations. We have won numerous awards at major events around the world for our work, all of which have helped us build up and maintain a reputation for uncompromising excellence and attention to detail over our 45 years in the business.

We undertake all work in house for both private and commercial clients across the globe. Our highly experienced, skilled and knowledgeable team of craftsmen and engineers pride themselves on looking after and restoring some of the worlds most important cars. We have undertaken full restorations on a wide variety of marques and are proud of an extensive restoration portfolio including:

Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Alfa Romeo, Bugatti, Bentley, Talbot-Lago, Jaguar, Amilcar, Lancia, Riley, Lagonda, Bucciali, BMW, Aston Martin, Panhard Levassor, Cadillac, Jensen, Peugeot, Salmson, Armstrong Siddley, AC, Mercedes Benz and Maserati.

All of our craftsmen work in house, thus on site we can attend to virtually every aspect that even the most complex restoration may require. Ash framing, panel-beating in steel and aluminium, chassis and engine rebuilds, electrical wiring, upholstery and painting in cellulose or synthetics. We also pride ourselves on performing all specialist machining on site utilising the substantial facility.

We take particular pride in researching the projects we take on meticulously to ensure that every detail of our work is correct in a mechanical, aesthetic and most importantly historical sense.
